EPILEPSY, let's talk about it!
The Neuropediatrics Department invites you to meet in the lobby of the Children's Hospital on February 12th, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, along with members of the Belgian French-speaking League against Epilepsy.
EPILEPSY, let's talk about it!
Prejudices surrounding epilepsy persist despite medical advancements, often resulting in unwarranted attitudes of fear and rejection, sometimes more challenging to endure than the disease itself. To counter this stigma and the discrimination still experienced by patients, it is essential to increase communication about this condition.
The Belgian French-speaking League Against Epilepsy will be present to sell their soaps, symbols of their campaign: "Soaps to Wash Away Epilepsy Prejudices." This campaign aims to raise awareness among the public and raise funds to strengthen their efforts to improve the quality of life for patients and their loved ones.
The Neuropediatrics Department strongly encourages you to wear the purple ribbon that we will distribute at the Children's Hospital on this occasion.
Your participation is valuable and will help change society's perception of epilepsy. Together, let's make a difference!
