Our specialized team works with the aim of ensuring the well-being of our young patients, emphasizing precise diagnosis, effective treatment, and emotional support throughout the healing process.
Our Specialties
The Dermatology Service at Children's Hospital offers a wide range of specialized services to meet the unique needs of our patients:
- Dermato-allergology consultations: We provide specialized consultations for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, contact eczema, urticaria, and prurigo. Our team also conducts allergy tests in collaboration with specialists in allergology and nutrition.
- Consultations for vascular anomalies: We have established a specialized program for screening and treating vascular anomalies in young children. Our multidisciplinary team offers advanced treatments, including laser therapy, for flat angiomas.
- Management of hereditary bullous dermatoses: In collaboration with various medical services, we offer comprehensive management for patients with hereditary bullous dermatoses, a rare but debilitating skin condition.
- Treatment of psoriasis in children: We specialize in the diagnosis and management of psoriasis in children, providing personalized treatments to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
- Management of systemic diseases and immunocompromised patients: Our experienced team provides expertise in the treatment of skin diseases associated with systemic conditions and the management of patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy.
