Our role
Welcome to our Gastroenterology service, primarily dedicated to disorders and diseases of the digestive system, as well as associated organs such as the liver and pancreas. Our priority is to care for your child by providing comprehensive and tailored care to their specific needs.
Our specialities
Our services include medical consultations where our specialists carefully assess the condition of each patient and determine the appropriate treatment plan. We also offer comprehensive management of issues related to assisted feeding, working closely with our dietitians to ensure optimal nutrition.
For the diagnosis and monitoring of digestive disorders, we utilize advanced techniques. This includes digestive endoscopies, both for diagnostic purposes to identify potential issues and interventional purposes to treat detected abnormalities. We also perform functional studies such as esophageal pH-impedance monitoring, which assesses acid reflux, high-resolution manometries at various levels of the digestive tract to study gastrointestinal motility, as well as respiratory tests to evaluate respiratory issues related to the digestive system.
All our technical examinations are scheduled by appointment, and our team will explain their procedures in detail, answer your questions, and ensure careful follow-up throughout the process.
Examinations can be performed on an outpatient basis for convenience, in a day clinic for cases requiring prolonged monitoring, or during hospitalization if necessary for a more thorough evaluation.
To ensure a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach in most situations, our gastroenterology and hepatology team works closely with the digestive surgery and nutrition teams. We also collaborate closely with our paramedical professionals, including dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
Our nurses play an essential role within our medical team by ensuring that each step of the treatment is perfectly coordinated and by addressing all the questions from patients and their families throughout the care process.
